Yes, yes, yes, now let’s get our hands dirty again…

With great pride, I present to you: The Anthem of the Self-Employed!

There are projects that one must do. And there are projects that one is really excited about. And our collaboration with Jimdo definitely falls into the second category.

Axel Lerner and I received the key to our new office in late summer September. The very next day, we had our first meeting. In an empty office, with just a standing desk and 8 chairs. A blank canvas, indeed. Our introduction with Yoav, Barbara, and Stephen from Jimdo. Sweaty, we introduced ourselves and talked about goals. Goals and independence. Exactly my topics. Exactly the right time.

Just like Instant Waves, the Marketing Team of Jimdo was undergoing a transformation at that time. And both teams turned out to be a really good match, as it would later prove. As a video and photo agency, we, together with the creative in-house team, produced pretty much everything the marketing toolbox has to offer in the past months 🙌

Big thanks to the whole team: Stephen Quell, Simao, Cindy, Sophia, Justinas, Bastian, Oli, Maria, and everyone I forgot! And a real big hug to our crew from Georgia: Metro Production, Tekle, Masho, and Sandro.

Now I am very excited to share a whole series of content pieces with you in the coming weeks: TV spots, explainer videos, social spots, a lot of content creator pieces, an OOH campaign, and even a radio spot. All ideas revolving around and based on Geiersturzflug’s hit “Bruttosozialprodukt” from the late 80s.

The first one is the hero version of our TV spot, directed by Annegret von Feiertag, with Mario Krause behind the camera. And in the lead role, none other than Jimdo’s CEO Matze!
